1. Operator and scope
This website is operated by BNI Action Chapter T27 (the Chapter). It provides meeting and event information, attendance registration, payment-record submission, check-in, member profiles and directories. Please read these terms and the Privacy Policy before using the system.
2. Registration and attendance
Provide accurate information and select the appropriate guest, substitute or observer category. Obtain authorisation before submitting another person’s details and give them the Privacy Policy. Dates, venues, fees and eligibility are as published for the relevant event; closed-door meetings are not open for public registration. Successful registration does not establish verified payment or approval of membership.
3. Payment and payment records
Pay the amount shown on the registration page using the stated payment methods. Uploading a payment screenshot is optional and assists reconciliation; it is not confirmation that the Chapter has received payment. Redact unrelated balances, transactions and personal information. Never submit passwords or verification codes. Contact the Chapter by email about payment queries.
4. Cancellation, rescheduling and refunds
If the Chapter officially cancels an event because of severe weather or circumstances beyond its reasonable control, it will refund the event fee it has received and communicate the refund arrangements through an event notice. Fees are not refundable where a participant does not attend for personal reasons and the event proceeds as scheduled. If an event is rescheduled, or you need to cancel your registration beforehand, contact the Chapter to confirm the applicable arrangements. Rescheduling, refunds or transfers will be addressed in the notice for that event. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
5. Accounts, uploads and acceptable use
Keep your login details secure and notify the Chapter promptly of suspected unauthorised use. Only upload photos, business details or payment records you are entitled to use and provide. Do not impersonate others, interfere with the system, harvest the directory for unsolicited promotion or publish unlawful or infringing content. The Chapter may restrict suspected misuse and investigate related enquiries.
6. Notifications and event participation
Email and WhatsApp contact details are used only for event confirmations and notices, not promotional marketing. Delivery depends on service providers and accurate contact details; contact the Chapter if confirmation is missing. Check-in and event participation, including on-site draws when enabled, follow the arrangements announced for the event. The website does not guarantee any prize or business outcome.
7. Intellectual property and responsibility
Website designs, software, logos and content belong to the Chapter or their respective rights holders and may not be copied or commercially used without authorisation. Rights in member-submitted content remain with the relevant rights holders. The Chapter aims to maintain the website but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Any limitation of liability applies only to the extent permitted by law and does not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
8. Changes, governing law and enquiries
The Chapter may update these terms; the revision date and version appear on this page. Updates do not affect refund rights already arising under agreed arrangements. These terms are governed by Hong Kong SAR law. The Chinese and English versions are intended to convey the same meaning; contact the Chapter for clarification of any discrepancy.
